GIF Full Form is Graphics Interchange Format. An image which graphics are animated called GIF. In simple words, an animated image is called GIF image. Some time ago in websites, flash files were used for animation in presentations, but there was a problem with flash files that every browser or application did not support flash animation, due to which we got black space in place of flash.
In order to solve this problem, GIF format came into existence in 1987 since then the use of GIF images for small animation in websites or presentations has increased a lot.
