JBL Full Form is James Bullough Lansing. It is an American company that manufactures Loudspeaker and related products. This company is divided into two parts according to the market, JBLConsumer and JBL Professional.
Consumer Department prepares Home Products, Music System etc. Special equipments are prepared by Professional Department for Studio, installed sound, tour sound, portable sound and cinema markets.
JBL History
Lansing and his business partner Ken Decker started a company in 1927 that worked for Speakers and Radio Manufacturing. Decker died in a Plane accident in 1939.
Soon after Decker’s death, the company faced a financial problem without Decker’s Guideline. Lansing Manufacturing Company was purchased by Altec Service Corporation.
After Lansing’s contract ended in 1946, he left the company and new company was established named, Lansing Sound inc. Which was later renamed James B. Lansing Sound.
