Ministry of Corporate Affairs
The Ministry is primarily concerned with administration of the Companies Act 2013, the Companies Act 1956, the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 & other allied Acts and rules & regulations framed there-under mainly for regulating the functioning of the corporate sector in accordance with law.
The Ministry is also responsible for administering the Competition Act, 2002 to prevent practices having adverse effect on competition, to promote and sustain competition in markets, to protect the interests of consumers through the commission set up under the Act.
Music Corporation of America
It is one of the best music company in United States Of America, which was founded in 1924. Initially, MCA focused only on Music industry but with the passage of time it achieved highest success in the film industry. MCA published music, booked acts, ran a record company, represented film, television, and radio stars, and eventually produced and sold television programs to the three major television networks, but had an especially good relationship with NBC.
Mumbai Cricket Association
Mumbai Cricket Association formerly known as Bombay Cricket Association was established in 1930 and is the governing body for cricket in Mumbai, Greater Mumbai and Thane districts. The jurisdiction of MCA includes the area up to Dahanu in the Western Suburbs, Badlapur in the Central Suburbs, and Navi Mumbai up to Kharghar. MCA is a permanent member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and houses the Headquarters of the BCCI in Cricket Centre within the Wankhede Stadium premises.
